Xbox Game Pass is one of the most popular subscription models on Xbox One, and it’s finally coming to PC. Microsoft has launched two subscription services that give players access to a variety of games for a fixed monthly cost: Game Pass (Xbox One), and Game Pass Ultimate (Xbox One). With Game Pass, players get unlimited access to over 100 games, and with Game Pass Ultimate, they get access to all Xbox One and Xbox 360 games with over 1,300 titles. The service has been very popular, and Microsoft just announced a new Game Pass for Windows that will launch later this month on Xbox One.
Microsoft’s Xbox Game Pass is a new program that offers subscribers access to a library of over 100 games, with no strings attached. The company has promised that all games are playable on Xbox One, Xbox One X, Windows 10 PC, and even mobile devices. While the program is still new, it’s already becoming one of the more popular subscription services offered on Windows 10 devices.
We’ve been waiting for another Xbox Game Pass addition for some time now, and today that long wait is over. We’ve been told it will be available on August 16 on Xbox One, but there’s no word yet if it will be the same on the PS4. It will be interesting to see if Microsoft has made changes to the offering, and if they have, we’ll save you the trouble and tell you here.
Tales of Arise has been on the minds of JRPG fans worldwide since its announcement, and now that we’re actually looking at its release date, those of us on the fence about buying the game outright may be wondering whether it’ll be available on Xbox Game Pass or its PC equivalent in 2021.
Tales of Arise arrives after the greatest gap between major releases in Bandai Namco Entertainment’s legendary series, which makes it an ideal time for it to be added to Xbox Game Pass, since it may expose a wider audience to the world of Dahna, with its diverse locations and formidable opponents.
Despite the fact that Tales of Arise is a multiplatform title, there are presently no indications that it will be available on Xbox Game Pass or its PC equivalent at launch.
This doesn’t rule out the possibility of it being on Microsoft’s subscription service later this year. At the same time, Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition, an upgraded version of the original game that debuted in Japan and North America in 2008 and arrived in Europe a year later, is the only title in the series to make it onto the service.
We’ll keep an eye on things and update this post if we find out more about a Tales of Arise Xbox Game Pass version.
